 .................Guide to the Resources Section

Edgartown lighthouse by Jeremy D'EntremontThe links we have placed in our Resources section were gathered from a number of places. Some came from personal use, specifically amongst the sites dealing with grief. Some are recommendations from others, and some are sites we liked, that we found while working on the web site.

The grief links offer a lot of information on loss and coping with loss whether it is yours or a friend's or a family member's. It is so hard sometimes to know what to do or not do. Some of these links remind us that being there, listening and offering friendship is a good thing. They also give advice on what not to do or say..........how to keep our feet out of our mouths, which when we are at a loss for what to say is so very easy to do!.

While some of the links in our Grief Resources section offer or link to medical information, or may be associated with a counseling practice, group or organizations, we are in no way associated with them, nor are we qualified to make medical judgments. We offer them simply as information you may find interesting, appropriate or helpful.

The Lighthouse Links page runs the gamut from US Coast Guard information to historic preservation to Ham radio operators. Even for those not particularly interested in lighthouses, they showcase a part of our history, and many of the photographs are breathtaking. I found all of it fascinating and hope you do too.

New England Lighthouses, A Virtual Tour, created by Jeremy D'Entremont is an incredible guide to lighthouses here in New England and lighthouse preservation everywhere. The photo at the top of this page was taken by him.

As author of this website I hope you will visit both sections and find something of interest in each.

I have moved the Travel to Martha's Vineyard page to the Resources section, as well as the section with photos of Edgartown and the rest of the island. I hope you enjoy them.
